In an Executive Order, the White House reopened the Section 321 clearance option for China and Hong Kong made goods until further notice. The notice can be found at Amendment to Duties Addressing the Synthetic Opioid Supply Chain in the People's Republic of China – The White House and is indicative of the government’s inability to handle the new entry volume caused by the earlier change.
This does not make any reference to reversing the additional 10% tariffs that are applicable to products of China and Hong Kong since earlier this week.
